Acne-free Skincare Routine

It’s already been 2 months since I had my pimples treated at a skin clinic and I am very much happy to see that my skin is slowly getting fair and my acne are not really that big and fussy.

The key to a better skin starts with a proper skincare regimen. I always look for products that mainly contains herbals and other chemicals that treat acne like salicylic acid and benzoic peroxide and most of all, paraben-free.

It’s also been a month since my pimples get adapted with the herbal products that I used and so I never switched again to some other brands to prevent breakouts.

My skincare regimen always starts with a facial wash from Himalaya Herbals.

Himalaya Herbals Whitening Face Wash (P150.00 – Available at Watsons)

I’m using this for more than a month and I must say it totally saves me from uneven skin tone and pimples on my face. I also got a compliment that my face looks fair and glowy, then I recalled that this product was the one I am using. It smells really good as well. I am using this twice a day (morning and evening).

I also need to exfoliate my dead skin cells to reveal that glowy, refreshed skin and what I use is this exfoliating scrub from Himalaya Herbals.

Himalaya Herbals Apricot Scrub (P199.75 – Available at Watsons)

It smells weird to me but I can really feel the scrub beads penetrating my skin. I only use this twice a week. Never scrub your face too much as it will damage your skin’s layers and tissues and might leave you even more breakouts.

After washing off my face, I then proceed to my daytime moisturizer which is the one from Celeteque Dermoscience+.

Celeteque Dermoscience+ Suncare Facial Moisturizer (P150.00 – Available at Watsons)

It has an SPF 15 which gives this moisturizer 2-in-1 benefits: moisturizes the skin and protects from the harmful UV rays. It comes in a handy tube and it’s consistency is really creamy that easily blends into the skin. I like that it doesn’t feel greasy and heavy on the face.

On the other hand, I moisturize my skin in the evening after washing my face with this soothing gel from Luxe Organix.

Luxe Organix Soothing Gel (P199.75 – Available at Watsons)

This consists of 99.85% aloe vera and I am very much impressed by its wonders. I use it overnight and when I wake up in the morning, my face always feels fresh and radiant.

Whenever I feel like my breakouts and redness are inflaming, I apply this Repair Cream I got from Kevlo, my skin clinic.

Kevlo Repair Cream (P250.00 – Available at Kevlo Skin Clinics)

It reduces the itching, redness, and flakiness of the skin providing smooth and supple feeling. I use it before applying the moisturizer every morning and night when I have too.

So far my face looks better now and I am happy I found these products that really worked wonders for me.

OMG, I’ve been wanting to try the Luxe Organix Aloe Vera Gel. I’ve been having dry skin problems so I’m thinking of using an Aloe Vera Gel to help with that. Glad it’s not expensive at all. 🙂
