It was just a quick meal at CnT Lechon together with Chad while waiting for somebody at Foodcourt Ayala. I’ve been seeing blogs hailing CnT Lechon as the Best Lechon in Cebu. It is my first time to try their best selling lechon so the hype was always there.
They have attached a pricelist in front of their stall.
We only have the 1/4 kilo since I thought it’s already enough for the two of us and it says 1/4 is recommendably good for 1-2 pax. We also had 2 orders of rice instead of puso.
• The lechon is yummy but not crispy.
• I really thought that all of the 1/4 lechon served was purely ”chopped lechon” but it was honestly 3/4 chopped bones, seriously. We only had few bites of lechon strips and that’s it. You’ve got to take a larger bite on those big bunch of bones.
• The 1/4 kilo of lechon is too pricey, really. It’s not even overall lechon meat. I can’t help but compare this one from ”Lechon Belly” which is also a lechon stall which offers P120 peso for 100 grams of lechon and 2 pieces of puso. That’s good for 1 person already and to think it’s not even that expensive. I would love to appreciate CnT’s amount of food served only if they compliment the servings with the cost, sadly it didn’t.
I was not impressed and satisfied. Though I personally love its flavor but the crispiness and juiciness was not there which I was supposedly expecting and it’s a bit too pricey for me. But their lechon is undeniably great. Maybe I only got few servings because I only ordered small amount that time (funny isn’t it) but well, they should have atleast made it a lot more, yeah? Anyways, I was feeling full after that meal.
