These past few weeks, I’ve been noticing that I only got fewer pimples and when that happens, pimple marks take place. It appears to be red, especially it becomes obvious even though I am already wearing a foundation. I don’t apply concealers most of the time since I got breakouts using it. Though the foundation gives me a nice and natural coverage, those pimple marks still appear on my cheeks and forehead which is pretty much annoying.
After some careful research, I found out that the fastest way to remove those blemishes is to undergo a laser treatment which nearly costs around P1,500-P3,500 per session and that’s quite pricey. So, I opt for a conservative way. I head on to the internet and looked for some homemade remedies on how to fade pimple marks in a very inexpensive way and stumbled upon this “Honey & Cinnamon Mask” mixture.
I found out that some people who opt to make a face mask with cinnamon and honey will leave it on their skin for 30 minutes. Others will use the mask as more of a “spot treatment,” applying it as a paste to pimples and acne blemishes, and that’s how I did mine.
There were like 10 or more home remedies for acne blemishes and that’s why I chose the Honey & Cinnamon mask is because I already got it at home so it would be very practical for me. So, how I did this Honey & Cinnamon Mask mixture? Very simple!
1. Grab your clean plastic container and stirrer.
2. Fill the container with the equal amount of raw honey and cinnamon powder (make sure it turns out like a paste).
3. Slowly mix it and you’re done!
4. Apply a liberal amount on blemished areas or you can opt to apply it all over your face. What I did is I only dab it on my pimple marked areas and leave it overnight. You could also wash it off after 30 minutes.
The morning after, I noticed how smooth my face is. I decide to do this routine every night to see visible and fairer results 🙂
