Such an exhausting day for me compared to Chad because he still doesn’t have classes, so we decided to take our sumptuous dinner at Ribpublic Diner located near Cebu Doctor’s Hospital at Capitol Site, Cebu City.
We walked almost half an hour searching for a dining spot near Capitol and we ended up here at Ribpublic Diner which is only 400 meters away from the spot where we are standing stranded with the drizzles of the rain.
When we already get there, there were only 2 customers seating at the corner. As usual we were handed the menu book. Their menu consists of chicken, rib (ofcourse their delicacy), lasagna and refreshments.
I ordered their Wild West Wings: Buffalo Style for ₱178 plus a scoop of plain rice for ₱20. Chad had The Ribpublic Regular (Ribs with Rice) for ₱198.
It took almost 10-15 minutes for our orders to get served.
Chad had the first bite on the ribs and guess what his reaction was, extremely priceless! He liked the tenderness of the meat, so as I. I tried it with myself and concluded so far the best ribs I’ve had so far.
Considering myself as a chicken wing die-hard, I was extremely hyped on my buffalo wings. It’s spicy and at the same time sweet which balanced the taste and the flavor.
The foods we had are satisfactory especially the ribs! Thank goodness they took responsibility of making the ribs their signature dish for this is what their restaurant’s name took inspiration of (obviously) and ofcourse my buffalo wings are tasty and juicy. I even used my barehands munching those guys (the more you get messy, the more fun when you eat).
He’s not gonna finish his plate with that huge slab of ribs… oh wait.
My food experience here at Ribpublic Diner was great and unexpected. Never thought of their ribs to taste that good. The only thing I don’t like here is their staffs. So busy playing on their mobile phones and doesn’t even talk to customers. They just serve orders and go. No words from their mouth or even say greetings at the first place when we came in. They can’t even hear us calling for the bill. Tsk. But overall it was an amazing experience although the place is small, the outside is far away from the noisy urban area which is a plus.
I recommend Ribpublic Diner for their ribs, swear it’s totally worth the price. And the size? Big enough to feed your hunger anger!
